Lyceum Scholar Economist Coeditor-in-Chief, Clemson Law Review Legal Intern, OCCCRC Clemson Athletics Photographer

About Me

My name is Jacob Citron. I am a Lyceum Scholar and Economics Major at Clemson University, and I plan to pursue a career in law. The Lyceum Scholars Program — recognized as one of the most prestigious academic programs in the nation with an acceptance rate of just over one percent — is dedicated to the study of the history of liberty, capitalism, the American Founding, and principles of moral character through a great books approach.

I first encountered this classical method at Golden View Classical Academy, where I came to believe that a classical, liberal arts education is an education in things worth knowing — and that without it, human life is somewhat incomplete, undeveloped, and unfulfilled.

Alongside my academic work, I serve as Coeditor-in-Chief of the Clemson Law Review and as a photographer for Clemson Athletics Communications. My legal work includes interning at the Office of Criminal Conflict and Civil Regional Counsel in Florida, where I focus mainly on defense against breaches of constitutionally protected rights.
